Visit the Certified Farmers' Market along Main Street Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., October to May, for the freshest produce, herbs, honey, nuts, cheese, cut flowers & plants, fresh baked breads from L'Artisan Bakery, live chef demonstrations and live music to feed your soul.
In addition, we have value added vendors who are passionate about using farm produce to create quality offerings: farm lavender products, farm infused popsicles “made with love,” superb organic salsas and sauces, farm smoothies, fresh squeezed OJ, guacamole, fine olive oil, avocado oils and lotions, organic nuts, sauerkraut and more. Plan to linger as you sate all your senses.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
Ho, ho, ho! Join us for bright lights and a big event at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Old Town La Quinta Friday, December 6, 2013, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Help us welcome the holiday with a tree that's two stories high and Santa, who is ready to meet our youngest visitors. Enjoy live music and entertainment featuring the Benjamin Franklin Elementary School Choir and the La Quinta High School Tough Guys and Gals Dance Team, plus additional performances.
Nearby Old Town Coffee Company will have hot chocolate and other warm drinks available at their Sidewalk Cafe, restaurants will be open for dining and many shops will be open late for holiday shopping. Sponsored by the City of La Quinta, this family friendly evening on the Event Lawn will have everyone in the holiday spirit. And feeling proud to be part of our beautiful community.
Loving All Animals Event'Tis the Season for a Loving All Animals Event in Old Town La Quinta — Wednesday, December 11, 2013, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Enjoy an evening shopping for the holidays and helping a great charity - Loving All Animals. There will be live music, food, and refreshments provided (including wine and beer) as well as wonderful pet adoption opportunities.

Art Under the Umbrellas
Get in on the action at the next Art Under the Umbrellas - Saturday, January 11, 2014, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Old Town La Quinta!
More than 80 artists present works in painting, glass, ceramic, jewelry, wood, sculpture, photography, fiber and mixed media along the closed off streets in Old Town Quinta. Art patrons will find quality artwork while tourists will discover a trove of treasures.
Live music by Steve Madaio & Friends complements the event and sets the stage for fun. Don't miss a spectacular day in the sun-warmed desert air, taking in the beauty of artist wares, exploring shops and dining in the best of Old Town's restaurants.
Art Under The Umbrellas will also be held on the following Saturdays in Old Town La Quinta: January 11, January 18, February 1, February 15 & March 22, 2014. Admission and parking are free.
