OLD TOWN LA QUINTA ANNOUNCES NEW WINE BAR OPENING SOON

(La Quinta, CA) - One of the most prime corners of Old Town La Quinta will again be a gathering place for wine aficionados and friends when it opens as The Wine Bar next month, developer Wells Marvin announced today.

"We're thrilled to see this premier space come back to life as a central meeting place where those who love wine can meet and sample a number of choice vintages, as well as micro brews and light bites," said Leslie Locken, property manager of Old Town La Quinta. "And watch for tastings and other events, too - there really will be a lot of exciting things happening at this great new addition to Old Town."

The Wine Bar will carry over 200 wines from around the world in its retail wine shop, as well as 20 to 30 wines by-the-glass in the wine bar. Patrons can pick out a bottle from the retail shop and enjoy it in the wine bar with no corkage, and every wine in the bar will be available for purchase in the retail shop. For those who prefer beer, a range of micro brews will be featured as well. In addition, The Wine Bar will have an all-day dining menu that pairs well with wine including olives, cheese, panini sandwiches and some featured desserts.

"We feel The Wine Bar will really complement the other restaurants and retail establishments here in Old Town," said Robert Mott, owner. "We plan on enhancing the buzz that already exists here by having weekly tasting events, visits from vintners and ways to educate people about different varietals so we can explore new wines together."

The Wine Bar is currently planning to open in early to mid-October 2011. For more information on The Wine Bar, please call Robert Mott at (760) 564-2201 or visit www.TheWineBarAtOldtown.com.
